As an Account Manager on our Select team, your role is to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients by creating and implementing customized service plans. You are responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, negotiating coverage, and managing proposals and renewals. Additionally, you will maintain accurate client information and foster a collaborative service experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in commercial Property & Casualty insurance at an agency or related company, preferably in an Account Manager position or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively service customers
  • Being a self-starter; a highly organized problem solver with good time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Dialing into the details, ensuring accuracy of the minute details of a project or task
  • Interpreting complex documents, such as insurance policies with multiple coverages, detailed applications and proposals.
  • Computer proficiency with Excel Spreadsheets, Word Documents, and navigating Agency Management Systems
  • Ability to work on a fast paced, high volume, and high-energy team while maintaining a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire
  • BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field
  • CPCU, CLCS, ARM, CISR or other professional insurance designation related to Property & Casualty
  • Experience working with Applied Epic, agency management system
  • Available to travel for client meetings, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful delivery of services to clients by creating and implementing customized service plans.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, negotiating coverage, and managing proposals and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate client information and foster a collaborative service experience.
  • Reviewing and presenting renewal proposals to clients (written, verbal, in person meetings, etc.).
  • Managing the full marketing process and negotiating contracts.
