About The Position

Quantem Aviation Services is a premier aircraft handling provider offering cargo warehousing, mail handling, ramp handling, terminal services, and GSE fuel supply and maintenance services. Account Managers work directly with our customers to ensure the highest level of satisfaction with our operations that we perform services for. It is important that they maintain and develop a strong relationship and connection with our customers to work directly with them and address any possible needs with the account. They must ensure that our contracts with our customers are properly carried out by our operational team.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have 5 years manager experience handling large ramp operations and demonstrated ability to manage budgets
  • A broad range of airline operational or aviation experience including but not limited to customer service, operations, maintenance, flight operations, facility requirements, airport management and safety/regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of regulatory and airline policies, warehouse procedures, operating station equipment, and aircraft handling procedures
  • Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process required for this location
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Airline cargo handling experience
  • A valid driver’s license is required for this position

Responsibilities

  • Properly ensuring that our assets (defined as our customers, aircraft, our staff, ground support equipment and facilities) are maintained to the highest standard
  • Develop and cultivate strong relations and retention with assigned customer and be an active member of the airport community
  • Ensure the account with assigned customer operates according to contract, service level agreement and coordinate interactions at all levels internally and externally
  • Provide hands-on supervision of the staff and delegate workload. Including but not limited to hiring and retaining employees, scheduling, training and time submission of payroll
  • Assist the General Manager and/or Operations Manager with station audits, provide information needed for reports, and handle all airline and FAA questions/concerns as required
