As an Account Manager Student Worker, you will develop and oversee the execution of account plans for multiple accounts and works to ensure engagements yield high volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer that are on track with goals, budgets, and forecasts. You will understand customer drivers of digital transformation and leverages understanding to engage internal teams to accelerate the customer's digital transformation and strategy. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have at least one semester/term remaining following the completion of the employment.
  • You must be legally authorised to work in Germany to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit.)
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in German.

  • Interest in technology, sales, and customer engagement.
  • Curiosity about how AI can transform the day-to-day work of account teams, with an interest in exploring Microsoft solutions to help improve and automate account team activities.

Responsibilities

  • Seek feedback from customers to understand the drivers of satisfaction and establish action plans to improve their overall experience.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer's business and technology needs for top priorities for assigned accounts. If industry aligned, also learn about the customer's industry.
  • Orchestrate extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to engage decision makers of assigned accounts.
  • Share and recommend Microsoft solutions to customers, and develop value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes to generate business and upsells.
  • Develop strategies to secure buy-in and execution of plans and aim to identify new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Take ownership of smaller projects and collaborate with Account Teams to drive sales, support forecast planning and deal execution, and contribute to business development activities around major industry events.

  • The base pay for this internship is € 1,500.00 per month.
