About The Position

Augment is a team of engineers, product designers, and customer champions using AI-powered automation to transform the $9T global logistics industry. Our AI agents reason and act like humans, revolutionizing freight brokerage workflows to drive efficiency and profitability. The team has scaled billion-dollar companies, built delightful products, and powered billions in commerce, and is now solving logistics’ toughest challenges with AI. Augment is looking for a high-performing, consultative Account Executive to drive revenue. This role involves owning the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery to demoing the AI platform and closing deals with top brokerages and logistics providers. It is ideal for someone who thrives in zero-to-one environments and is energized by complex, technical sales. The Account Executive will work closely with founders, product team, and solutions engineers to deliver tailored AI solutions that solve real customer pain. Augment's mission is to free logistics professionals from busywork so they can focus on high-impact problem-solving and strategic decision-making, transforming the industry by empowering teams with AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in full-cycle B2B SaaS sales, with a focus on mid-market to enterprise deals
  • Strong technical acumen—you’re comfortable selling complex software and integrating into operational workflows
  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and multi-threaded deals
  • Experience sourcing your own pipeline and running outbound strategies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter mentality with bias toward action and experimentation
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly in a startup environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into logistics, supply chain, or freight brokerage
  • Familiarity with AI/ML products or workflows
  • Background in consulting or solution engineering
  • Prior success in a zero-to-one or early-stage startup sales role

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the entire sales process from initial outreach to close
  • Develop tailored strategies for high-value enterprise prospects
  • Conduct deep discovery to understand workflows, pain points, and success metrics
  • Deliver high-impact demos and business cases in partnership with Integrations Engineers
  • Drive pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals
  • Leverage tools like Clay, Apollo, and HubSpot to run smart, scalable campaigns
  • Identify and engage multiple stakeholders across freight brokerages, 3PLs, and enterprise logistics orgs
  • Work closely with prospects to scope AI integrations and workflows
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate needs into capabilities
  • Guide prospects through pilots, proof-of-concepts, and value validation
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasts
  • Share customer insights to shape roadmap and GTM strategy
  • Help build sales playbooks, collateral, and best practices as we scale
