About The Position

The Account Executive owns new business across the Baton Rouge market, converting warm leads from Sparkhound’s speaking and community presence, marketing, and partners—including Microsoft—into clients. The role is focused on moving quickly, maintaining a disciplined sales process, and closing business rather than cold-calling from an empty list. It helps organizations get results from Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, data and AI, and provides IT and application services. The Account Executive manages the full sales cycle for both projects and recurring managed services, develops new client relationships and expansion opportunities, participates in local events, collaborates with channel partners, and maintains accurate pipeline information. The position is based in or requires willingness to relocate to the Baton Rouge area. Success expectations include learning Sparkhound’s offers and pricing during the first month; owning Baton Rouge leads, holding at least 12 first-time meetings, and closing a first deal within 90 days; building a healthy pipeline by mid-year; and reaching full quota run rate by year end. Employees are expected to handle client and company data carefully, follow information security policies, complete required security training, report suspected incidents or policy violations, maintain accurate documentation, and follow change management procedures in client environments.
