The ClearanceJobs New Business Sales team aims to be the most indispensable career marketplace for the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and Intelligence contracting community, as well as Federal Government agencies. This role involves adding new contractors and government entities seeking US Security Clearance candidates. As an Account Executive - Mid-Market, you will manage your own book of business by acquiring new clients and re-engaging inactive accounts within the ClearanceJobs Mid-Market Accounts segment, specializing in hiring security-cleared professionals. This includes conducting discovery, demonstrations, and follow-up conversations to provide suitable recruiting solutions. This position is crucial for driving double-digit revenue growth for DHI and ClearanceJobs, benefiting the candidate community by offering new roles unique to the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Recent experience building, selling and managing your own book of accounts
  • A Grinder/Hunter mentality combined with an intrinsically motivated focus
  • A skilled user of Salesforce, SalesLoft or Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office products
  • Comfortable accepting change and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Known to write succinctly and speak convincingly; you are organized and time sensitive
  • Reside in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area
  • Willing and able to attend Company Events in the DC region

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to the Federal government space (agencies, military, defense) is highly desirable
  • SaaS sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage your book of business by acquiring net new clients & re-engaging inactive accounts for our ClearanceJobs Mid-Market Accounts segment who specialize in hiring security cleared professionals
  • Do discovery, demonstrations, and follow-up conversations with prospective clients to help find the right recruiting solutions that fit their overall cleared security personnel needs
  • Complete our comprehensive onboarding/training program so you have the knowledge of our brand's products, services, and value propositions and the tools and support needed to close your deals
  • Attend regular bi-weekly Sales Enablement training sessions
  • Organize your book of accounts and formulate your preferred attack strategies
  • Absorb competitive intel and learn how to handle common objections with targeted talk tracks
  • Self-generate your own opportunities to sell, leveraging a hunter mindset
  • Work with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help create additional opportunities in addition to what has been self-generated
  • Be productive and efficient with the technology stack we use on a daily basis (i.e. Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator)
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas
