About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Phoenix, AZ territory in a unique community-based opportunity. This role involves working closely with Grand Canyon University (GCU) to support students, families, and the community. The position offers a starting salary of $75,000 per year with the potential for a six-figure income after 5 years. New hire training will be conducted in-person at the Phoenix, AZ campus. GCE provides a generous benefits package, including tuition-free education for employees up to the master's degree level and 75% coverage for doctorate programs, with similar benefits extended to family members.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree preferred
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in-person, written, and phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; willingness to volunteer for new challenges and take ownership.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule, including ability to travel extensively in the territory.
• Clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle.
• Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Must live in or near Yuma, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory to build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, and drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high-impact partnerships for your territory and executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums (in-person, phone, email), championing the GCE mission, and promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guiding them toward a successful online learning experience, utilizing critical thinking skills to meet ambitious targets in a work-from-home role.
