About The Position

At Hudl, we build great teams and foster a culture where everyone feels supported, aiming to be the team behind the team that supports the lifelong impact sports can have. We help teams globally by providing products that make it easier for coaches and athletes to capture video, analyze data, share highlights, and more. We are looking for an Account Executive to focus on market development and acquiring new revenue from U.S. high schools and middle schools that do not currently use our products. The role primarily involves sales through online demos and phone calls, with occasional travel to the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • At least one-two years of business-to-business sales experience with a consistent track record of achieving/exceeding goals (experience in Customer Success, Customer Support, or Business Development also considered).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to think critically and project confidence to customers.
  • Resilience and grit, with a competitive drive to handle rejection and push through challenges in net new logo sales.
  • Organizational skills to manage a territory, map out daily prospect outreach, and comfort working in a remote environment.
  • Motivation to beat personal records, expect the best from oneself, and continuously improve.

Nice To Haves

  • SaaS experience.
  • Knowledgeable about sports (e.g., experience as an athlete, coach, or administrator in club or high school sports).
  • Prior Salesforce usage.

Responsibilities

  • Own a sales cycle, collaborating with athletic directors and coaches to ensure their schools and teams have the necessary tools for development and improvement.
  • Close sales via phone and online demos, understanding that increased calls and demos lead to more sales.
  • Work across multiple sports, understanding how various teams can benefit from video analysis and customer personas regardless of sport.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure growth across all sports, product verticals, and locations, and to support customer journeys.
