Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in related disciplines such as Technology, Engineering, Business
  • At least 8 years of professional sales experience

  • Located in the Central or Eastern United States
  • Working knowledge of technologies within our customer networks and the tools that support them
  • Effective communicating with executives of Private Network Operators, System Integrators, and Contractors
  • Thought leader with the ability to identify, relate, and simply communicate a compelling message of how clients can achieve their business objectives with VIAVI Solutions
  • Deep understanding of Private Wireless Network technologies and Network Operational philosophies with ability to relate solutions to practical “use cases”
  • Self-starter with ability to work equally well as part of a team or independently
  • Strong process orientation (negotiation, sales, project implementation, multi-tasking time management, etc.)
  • Track record of success in selling leading edge solutions into complex accounts (hunting or farming at either mid-tier or large accounts) is desired
  • Sound understanding of financial implications of VIAVI’s solutions, and how to model them in business cases
  • Team player with collaborative approach to drive complex teams (Client and VIAVI stakeholders) toward mutual goals

Responsibilities

  • Drive the overall sales effort with private wireless network operators, system integrators, contractors, and end users to meet revenue growth objectives.
  • Provide close support to customers throughout the entire lifecycle of our products.
  • Align VIAVI solutions with customer’s needs to achieve business metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide solutions to customer business challenges through complex projects that would include Software, Services, and Hardware offerings.
  • Manage interfaces between the client and VIAVI business unit support teams.
  • Develop, modify, track, and execute a complex solution-oriented sales plan.
  • Face to face customer interaction.
  • Communication of key value propositions of VIAVI tools.
  • Customer support and training.
