About the Job: Vista Radio has an immediate opening for a full-time Account Executive, based in Grande Prairie, AB.

Requirements

  • Education in sales, marketing, business, or communications preferred and entrepreneurial backgrounds are welcomed.
  • Sales experience is an asset; media sales experience is a bonus (we’ll train the right person!)
  • Comfortable working on a commission-based compensation structure
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time, priorities, and deadlines independently
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Computer-savvy, especially with Microsoft Office or Google Suite tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service-oriented with exceptional networking skills
  • Creative thinker with a knack for problem-solving and solution development
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable, fully insured vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing multi-platform marketing campaigns that integrate radio, digital, and social media to help clients achieve their goals
  • Supporting an existing client base by developing new campaigns, optimizing ongoing strategies, and uncovering new growth opportunities
  • Prospecting and cold calling to develop new business from unassigned accounts and fresh leads
  • Designing creative sales strategies and proposals tailored to client needs and business goals
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Managing your own account receivables to ensure timely billing and follow-up
