About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Las Vegas, NV territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity where you will play an integral role in providing Grand Canyon University students the roadmap for success from application through to completion of the first few classes. The role involves identifying and implementing event/activity plans, building awareness of online academic programs, and driving inquiry generation. You will also provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums, championing the GCE mission and promoting student success and institutional growth. This is a work-from-home role with ambitious targets, requiring out-of-the-box critical thinking to support prospective students through the admissions process and guide them towards a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management over the past 3+ years.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while travelling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, in writing, and on the phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; willingness to volunteer for new challenges and take ownership.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must reside in or near Las Vegas, NV.

• Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory.
• Building awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business and drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high impact partnerships for your territory, while executing in daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through a variety of mediums.
• Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process, guiding them on the right path towards a successful online learning experience.
