Account Executive - Online Division - Grand Canyon University
About The Position
Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the San Antonio, TX territory. This is a community-based role focused on helping Grand Canyon University students succeed by promoting online academic programs. The position involves identifying and implementing territory plans, building awareness, driving inquiry generation, shaping partnerships, and providing counseling to prospective students, families, and partners. The role requires working independently, utilizing critical thinking skills, and supporting students through the admissions process for a successful online learning experience. The starting salary is $75,000 per year with the potential for a six-figure income after 5 years.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree required.
- No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
- Outstanding time management skills.
- Clear communication skills (in person, in writing, and on the phone).
- Well-developed listening skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to use personal vehicle.
- Computer literacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

- Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory.
- Building awareness of online academic programs for education, healthcare, and business.
- Driving inquiry generation.

- Executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails.
- Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums.
- Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
- Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process.
- Guiding students on the right path towards a successful online learning experience.
