About The Position

The Account Executive Inside develops and maintains business relationships to sell Products, Software, and Services via telephone and email. This position receives inbound calls and makes outbound phone calls focused on developing buying relationships with small to mediumsized business customers. As a trusted advisor to Insight’s customers, the Account Executive Inside will identify opportunities to leverage Insight’s complete technology offering, which encompasses hardware, software, services, and networking. This position will partner with sales specialists to manage and grow opportunities within their market/region to achieve sales objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three – four years of sales experience, telemarketing experience, customer service experience, and computer industry experience are preferred.
  • The ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to work on-site, remote, or hybrid based on the needs of the business
  • Must have the ability to multitask and strong organization and time management skills.
  • A strong interest in sales, along with good communication skills, is also essential.
  • Must be able to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion.
  • Initiate, plan, organize, and sell to small to mediumbusiness skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college business coursework, sales training, customer service training, or computer industry training is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in cold calling to establish new business.
  • Listen actively during calls for sales opportunities and customer needs while being conscientious and attentive to details
  • Identify sales opportunities by exploring customer business needs and may introduce a Sales Specialist to assist in closing a sale.
  • Converse intelligently about all business issues, displaying excellent telephone and interpersonal communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Follow-up with customers on quotes and orders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Understand the negotiating interests of both Insight and the customer while displaying solid technical knowledge.
