About The Position

We’re looking for a Sales Lead in the NYC Metro area for Outmax’s US brand-direct sales motion end-to-end. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and first meeting through negotiation and close—and be accountable for pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and revenue delivery against quarterly and annual targets. You’ll carry your own book of strategic accounts while building the playbooks, processes, and sales infrastructure that allow the broader Outmax go-to-market team to scale. You’ll work closely with senior team members and cross-functional partners, building relationships with key stakeholders at brands and developing a strong understanding of Outmax’s value in the adtech ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within adtech, martech, or digital media.
  • Proven ability to manage a sales cycle and consistently contribute to revenue targets.
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising and programmatic fundamentals (DSPs, SSPs, RTB, etc.).
  • Experience working with CRM tools and maintaining pipeline hygiene.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage client stakeholders confidently.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Based in NYC and open to travel domestically (~20–30%).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into brand-side marketing or programmatic teams.
  • Exposure to enterprise or mid-market deal cycles.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC).
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of brand prospects across key verticals (CPG, retail, financial services, pharma, tech).
  • Consistently work toward quarterly and annual revenue targets, with a focus on pipeline quality and progression.
  • Support account planning efforts by mapping stakeholders and identifying opportunities within target accounts.
  • Drive outbound prospecting through a mix of research, events, and targeted outreach.
  • Partner with Marketing on demand generation initiatives (events, webinars, content campaigns).
  • Qualify inbound leads and move opportunities through a structured, stage-based sales process.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility.
  • Follow and help refine existing sales playbooks, messaging, and qualification frameworks.
  • Contribute feedback on pitch materials, proposals, and sales collateral based on client interactions.
  • Support pipeline reviews and provide insights on deal progression and challenges.
  • Engage with mid-to-senior level stakeholders (e.g., Directors, VPs of Digital/Programmatic).
  • Support and participate in client presentations and pitches.
  • Navigate standard procurement and legal processes with guidance as needed.
  • Position Outmax’s offering clearly, focusing on business outcomes and performance impact.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Account Management, and Client Success to ensure smooth deal handoffs.
  • Collaborate with senior sales leadership on territory planning and account strategy.
  • Share market feedback and client insights to help inform product and go-to-market improvements.
