As a Full-Time Account Executive at MST Insurance Solutions, Inc. in Schaumburg, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, engaging with clients through daily interactions across a portfolio of 10-20 mid to large-sized accounts. Your role focuses on client retention, ensuring that each account receives the utmost care and attention, including virtual and in-person meetings. The position requires a knowledgeable and motivated professional who excels as a team player, demonstrating a client-first attitude. Internal meetings are business-casual, while client meetings require a polished, business suit corporate appearance. You'll also have opportunities to assist in acquiring new business, making you eligible for commissions. With a hybrid work environment allowing for flexibility, you'll generally be required to work in the office just once a week with the opportunity to work from home the rest of the week if desired. Some business travel will be required (this can vary, but 25% travel can be assumed for this role).

Requirements

  • Valid Property and Casualty license
  • Solid knowledge of various lines of coverage across multiple industries
  • Strong knowledge in Worker's Compensation and Property are a MUST.
  • Ability to explain coverage details clearly to clients
  • Strategic mindset to drive renewal initiatives and provide exceptional service that fosters client retention.
  • Innovative approach to creatively identify tailored solutions for each client
  • Mentoring and inspiring junior staff members
  • Excellent team player
  • Frequent communication with all parties involved in the account management process
  • Superior detail-oriented and time-management skills
  • Openness to feedback

  • Active Property and Casualty license
  • 7 or more years of commercial insurance account management experience
  • Solid knowledge of all lines of coverage across multiple industries
  • Ability to explain coverages to clients
  • Drive renewal strategy and provide top-tier service to retain clients
  • Think creatively to find the best solution for each client
  • Mentor and inspire junior staff
  • Be an excellent team player with frequent communication to all parties involved
