About The Position

The US Commercial segment is a vital area for Cisco's growth and success. This role is part of a dynamic, collaborative team of sales professionals focused on guiding customers through their digital transformation. The team values innovation, agility, and a customer-first approach, aiming to solve complex business challenges with Cisco's technology. As an Account Executive, you will be the main contact for a specific set of accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire sales process, from identifying new opportunities to closing deals across Cisco's product portfolio.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technology sales or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record in building and executing territory strategies, including accurate forecasting, consistent quota attainment, dynamic presentation skills, and short/mid/long-term pipeline management.
  • Strong market insight required; technical aptitude and the ability to articulate complex solutions preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering business value and building deep customer relationships.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to position end-to-end solutions and articulate Cisco strategies to senior customer executives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Expand existing client relationships and identify new sales opportunities to deliver consistent year-over-year growth.
  • Elevate Customer Success: Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions to improve customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Execute Strategic Territory Planning: Strengthen Cisco's market visibility through rigorous account planning, accurate forecasting, and consistent quota attainment.
  • Bridge Internal & External Teams: Serve as the vital link between customers and internal Cisco cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage short, mid, and long-term pipeline health to ensure predictable business outcomes.
