Account Executive, Strategic

ScribeSan Francisco, CA
$300 - $350

About The Position

We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial Account Executive to drive new growth and deep partnership within Scribe’s largest global enterprise accounts. You’ll own a highly strategic book of business focused on companies with 10,000+ employees, navigating complex organizations, shaping high-value opportunities, and landing transformative six-figure+ deals that lay the foundation for long-term expansion. This is a builder role. You’ll combine the executive presence of a strategic seller with the scrappy tenacity of a 0→1 operator, working cross-functionally, leveraging insight and creativity, and crafting tailored go-to-market strategies that expand Scribe’s footprint across the enterprise. Scribe is already used by over 600,000 organizations worldwide, but we’re just scratching the surface with the world’s largest enterprises. You’ll play a defining role in shaping how these customers adopt, scale, and realize the full potential of Scribe. As a Strategic Customer Account Executive at Scribe, you’ll translate Scribe’s enterprise vision into action. You’ll own a defined portfolio of Fortune 1000 customers, driving both new lands and meaningful expansion of our AI-powered documentation and automation platform, Scribe Optimize. You’ll partner closely with senior decision-makers, navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver measurable impact for our customers and business.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in SaaS sales, including 5+ years selling into large, complex global enterprises.
  • Proven record of closing six-figure and seven-figure deals with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience selling into CIO-level and other C-suite personas, understanding how to navigate enterprise IT and business leadership dynamics.
  • Prior experience partnering closely with executives or founders to foster strong executive-to-executive relationships that drive mutual trust and strategic growth.
  • Equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on operator, comfortable navigating ambiguity and building motions from scratch.
  • Deep experience in territory and account planning, orchestrating cross-functional resources around strategic pursuits.
  • Strong executive presence, credibility, and relationship-building skills across multiple levels of the organization.
  • A builder mindset who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves solving new problems, and balances polish with grit.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute strategic account plans that uncover whitespace, expand into new departments, and deepen adoption across large, global organizations.
  • Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles, aligning executive, operational, and technical stakeholders to drive consensus and close six-figure+ deals.
  • Act as a cross-functional catalyst, partnering closely with Marketing, CS, and Product to refine how Scribe Optimize wins and expands in the enterprise.
  • Build strong executive-to-executive relationships, partnering with Scribe’s leadership and customer CxOs to ensure strategic alignment and advocacy.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to CIOs, COOs, and transformation leaders, helping them reimagine efficiency, knowledge-sharing, and automation with Scribe.
  • Track and report on key business metrics (ARR growth, expansion rate, and adoption within your account portfolio) to inform GTM strategy and execution.
  • Contribute to building and refining scalable enterprise sales motions as we continue expanding into global accounts.
