About The Position

NerdsToGo Plano has been acquired by ATI, an industry leader with over 35 years of experience providing enterprise IT solutions to businesses and government agencies. We are scaling our local operations and looking for an Account Executive to lead our B2B growth, bridging the gap between high-level tech and small business needs. This is a high-visibility, consultative B2B sales role for someone who understands how technology drives business success. As an Account Executive, you will be the face of NerdsToGo and ATI. You will engage directly with Plano’s small and mid-sized businesses, identify their security and operational pain points, and consult on the managed IT solutions that help them thrive. If you have the "Gift of Gab" and a sharp "Tech Knack," we want you to help us own the North Texas market.

Requirements

  • Top performer in tech retail (Apple, Best Buy, Verizon)
  • Deeply motivated by winning.
  • Ability to translate complex "Tech-Speak" (like Cybersecurity and Cloud Infrastructure) into clear, value-driven language.
  • Deeply comfortable with Windows/Mac environments, networking basics, and cloud concepts (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace).
  • Ready to permanently move out of transactional, consumer-facing retail and into the lucrative world of professional Business-to-Business consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Actively hunt for new opportunities in the Plano area through targeted local networking, warm lead follow-ups, and outbound outreach.
  • Audit local businesses' networks, security, and cloud setups to map out custom IT roadmaps for them.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from the initial discovery meeting and presentation of the proposal to closing the managed services contract.
  • Once you close the deal, coordinate directly with our engineering and technical teams to ensure the client’s transition to our services is completely flawless.
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to our business clients, ensuring they have the right technology framework as their companies scale.
