About The Position

The Web, Media, and Gaming team is at the heart of the digital revolution within our Americas Service Provider organization. We partner with the world’s most influential service providers to build the high-performance, scalable infrastructure that powers the global internet, immersive gaming experiences, and high-fidelity media streaming. We design and implement robust network solutions that handle massive traffic loads, ensuring low latency and high availability for millions of users across the Americas. We work at the intersection of cloud, edge computing, and advanced networking to solve complex technical challenges for our partners in the media and gaming sectors. Our team focuses on future-proofing our customers' infrastructure, allowing them to grow alongside the rapidly evolving demands of the digital economy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years proven track record of success in enterprise or channel sales within the technology or IT-related industry, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate the value proposition of complex technology portfolios to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong executive presence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required to support partner engagements.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with Service Providers (MSPs) and a deep understanding of their business models and operational challenges.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cisco’s technology portfolio (Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Security, Service Provider Routing, and Webex) from a business and market-value perspective.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience in complex contract negotiation and channel partner management.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate sales workflows, conduct market research, and enhance strategic account planning.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical authority, shaping the network architecture of major service providers to improve performance and reliability for global users.
  • Directly enable our partners to deploy next-generation services, helping them stay competitive in the high-stakes gaming and media landscape.
  • Tackle complex engineering problems, delivering solutions that minimize latency and optimize delivery for high-bandwidth applications.
  • Build long-term trust with our customers by translating technical capability into business outcomes, ensuring they remain at the forefront of digital innovation.
