The internship program has also been highly ranked. The Personal Lines team in Berkeley Heights, NJ, is seeking an Account Executive to join their Premier Client Services group. This role involves working closely with producers and senior staff on quoting, issuing, and servicing personal lines accounts, as well as account rounding. The Account Executive will manage their own designated client book.

Requirements

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related position
  • Valid NJ State Property & Casualty Insurance license
  • Experience working with insurance carriers such as Chubb, Cincinnati, AIG-PCS, Pure, Cincinnati, Berkley One and Travelers
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with insurance carriers such as Cincinnati, AIG, Chubb, Pure, and Travelers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Performing accurate and thorough reviews of client coverage, exposure, and pricing and then communicating recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Soliciting additional business from existing client base and gaining referrals for new prospects.
  • Maintaining an ongoing working knowledge of all available carriers and products as well as sustain account retention and development.
  • Handling problems/questions pertaining to clients as they arise.
  • Updating EPIC with account activity.
  • Sending letters to clients confirming specific policy activity.
