About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the West Las Vegas, NV territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity where you will help Grand Canyon University students succeed. The role involves identifying and implementing event/activity plans, building awareness of online academic programs, and driving inquiry generation. You will also provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums, championing the GCE mission and promoting student success. This is a work-from-home role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work, critical thinking, and support for prospective students through the admissions process.

Requirements

• Over 3+ years of demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, writing, and phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; willingness to volunteer for new challenges.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must reside in or near Las Vegas, NV.
