As an Account Executive, you will work with some of the largest and most complex organizations in Canada, your knowledge of marketing strategies combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. You will use your relationship-building skills, provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. You will set the goal and strategy for how advertising can reach users across the globe. You will also help to provide integrated, global advertising solutions to partners. You will drive and grow new business with Google’s customers and manage business relationships to ensure that customers' needs and requirements are met. Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously focus on how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We help these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in sales, digital advertising, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing a book of business, sales pipeline or collaborating with customer stakeholders.
  • Experience with performance media, including measurement, attribution, optimization and new business line development with the knowledge of digital tactics, for search and performance tactics.
  • Experience in business development, customer relationships, and consultation within the media industry.
  • Experience working collaboratively on projects in a cross-functional team setting, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, presentation, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey how growth hacking can deliver growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive global search and performance growth for partners by working collaboratively with a team.
  • Build high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant and optimize marketing strategy.
  • Create plans that define strategies and tactics aligned to deliver customer business outcomes, while navigating agency and customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans, annual planning, and other negotiations.
  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasts of sales performance, opportunities, and pipelines through ongoing monitoring.
