About The Position

A KXAN Marketing Consultant is a strategic sales professional responsible for generating advertising revenue through Broadcast Television, OTT/Streaming, and Digital Marketing solutions. In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, uncover client marketing needs, create customized advertising strategies, and oversee campaign execution and performance. As a trusted marketing advisor, you will partner with business owners and advertising agencies to deliver innovative campaigns that drive measurable results while building long-term client relationships and generating revenue growth for KXAN.

Requirements

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including OTT/Streaming, paid media, and online advertising solutions.
Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish long-term client partnerships.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with exceptional time-management abilities.
Comfortable with prospecting, cold calling, and developing new business opportunities.
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Coachable, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or media.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and in-market visits.
Conduct discovery meetings to assess client goals, challenges, and marketing needs.
Develop and present customized broadcast, streaming, and digital advertising solutions.
Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns from proposal through renewal.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and performance reviews.
Increase revenue through renewals, upselling opportunities, and new campaign initiatives.
Collaborate with internal sales support, strategy, creative, and research teams to deliver exceptional client results.
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and revenue forecasting within CRM systems.
Serve as a trusted marketing resource within the local business community.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and media sales.
