About The Position

The Account Executive, Majors in the Canadian market is responsible for selling Dayforce’s HCM solutions to mid-market companies in their assigned territory. This role requires prior experience selling Human Capital Management (HCM) software solutions and a strong understanding of HR, payroll, and workforce management domains. The ideal candidate will leverage this expertise to drive new business, engage with senior decision-makers, and position Dayforce as a leading HCM provider. Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience selling HCM (Human Capital Management) software solutions is required
  • Candidates without HCM sales experience will not be considered
  • Proven track record of prospecting, developing, and closing new HCM business opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales objectives in B2B HCM sales over the course of several years
  • Experience in consultative sales engagements specifically within HCM or HR technology
  • ERP or other enterprise software experience is only relevant if it included direct HCM solution sales
  • Strong understanding of HCM solutions, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and workforce management
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with mid-level and C-suite leaders by leveraging a strong understanding of HCM business drivers, value expectations, and ROI/business case development
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with internal and external constituents
  • Moderate to extensive travel required, depending upon assigned territory
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Proficiency in English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders, co-workers, managers and/or clients across the world. Further, our back office support teams, including but not limited to Human Resources, are primarily English speaking. Employees need to be able to communicate with these departments in English to appropriately administer their business relationship. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking co-workers, managers, stakeholders and/or clients, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Attains sales quota by creating and executing a business plan to exceed revenue goals and expand Dayforce’s value within the HCM space
  • Develops mutually beneficial relationships with C-suite and other key decision makers and influencers, particularly within HR, finance, and operations
  • Leverages knowledge of prospect’s business and industry, as well as Dayforce’s HCM capabilities, to establish value and create new opportunities
  • Establishes and executes sales strategies that effectively present a strong HCM business case to prospects, using competitive intelligence to position Dayforce against other HCM providers
  • Leads HCM-focused sales engagements and involves resources as needed to address prospect’s HR and workforce-related business challenges
  • Conducts negotiations on behalf of Dayforce to secure sales that represent good business within current sales framework, authorities, and practices
  • Captures all relevant information in CRM system
  • Follows all defined processes and timelines
  • Keeps current on Dayforce processes and any relevant changes
  • Completes HCM certifications and maintains deep proficiency in Dayforce’s HCM platform, including HR, payroll, and workforce management capabilities
  • Effectively communicates how Dayforce HCM applications solve complex business problems across the employee lifecycle
