About The Position

Vericast is seeking an Account Executive IV who sees sales as more than hitting a number and genuinely cares about helping clients succeed. This role involves turning data into a compelling story, bringing curiosity to client conversations, uncovering client challenges, aligning needs to solutions, and building lasting relationships. The ideal candidate is driven, competitive, embraces team selling, and celebrates the success of others. The Account Executive IV is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives by expanding and renewing engagement or driving net new growth with existing accounts and new client prospects. They will meet regularly with clients and prospects to share data insights, identify problems, align needs with solutions, and review attribution results. With extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, they will proactively secure client meetings with multiple stakeholders to understand their needs and recommend products or services. Success requires strong digital and data-driven marketing knowledge, executive-level relationship skills, disciplined pipeline management, a marketing mindset, and the ability to translate data and insights into measurable business value. Financial marketing experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
  • 10+ years in a quota carrying sales role; demonstrated ability to close new business and manage relationships.
  • Recent sales experience within a financial services vendor company; marketing discipline preferred.
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing disciplines.
  • 1-3 years experience and proficiency required in: Marketing, Media, and Advertising.
  • Demonstrated success leading consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from discovery and proposal development through negotiation and close.
  • Ability to use data, insights and market context to create a compelling client vision, position value, and align Vericast solutions to business objectives.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with executive-level client and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagement.
  • Proven consultative and insights-based selling skills, including discovery, and solution positioning, and value storytelling.
  • Proficiency in delivering persuasive client presentations, proposals, and business cases.
  • Adaptability in responding to market changes, evolving client needs, and shifting internal priorities.
  • Openness to learning new solutions, capabilities, and go-to-market approaches.
  • Executive presence, strong relationship building skills, and the ability to earn trust across diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach to working across sales, strategy, product, analytics, and delivery teams.
  • Proven success managing complex opportunities, negotiating effectively, and closing business.
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with sound business judgment.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and maintain momentum across multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Disciplined account planning, pipeline management, and forecasting skills.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota and business objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills, CRM proficiency, and attention to detail needed to manage multiple opportunities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with aptitude to learn systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Financial marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Deepen existing client relationships—generating incremental business.
  • Consult with clients on business issues and marketing program design.

  • Work with Strategists and Delivery Teams to execute project specifications and deliver quality results to clients.
  • Develop insightful proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations.
  • Manage contracts and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Meet in person with clients and prospects.
  • Participate in a high level of prospecting activities: lead generation, qualifying prospects, discovery, and demonstrating solutions to prospective clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities.
  • Sell with data and insights.
