About The Position

Develop and maintain a strong relationship with existing and new AWS customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving cloud adoption, and maximizing revenue growth within an assigned territory. Act as the primary point of contact, and build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across technical and business functions. Develop a deep understanding of customers' business objectives, challenges, and technical requirements. Establish and manage regular customer engagement through business reviews, planning sessions, and strategic discussions. Research industry trends to create strategic plans, exceed sales quotas, and coordinate cross-functional AWS resources to deliver comprehensive solutions. Partner strategically with software vendors and AWS Marketplace sellers to create integrated solutions that accelerate customer outcomes. Engage confidently with executives, articulate AWS's value proposition, lead contract negotiations, and maintain a balanced sales pipeline to help enterprises achieve their business objectives through AWS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Three years of experience in complex sales, account management, or line-of-business management in software or cloud technology space.
  • Three years of experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of business across organizations.
  • Three years of experience with large complex deal negotiations.
  • Three years of understanding of cloud technology as a service including at least one of the following: Infrastructure as a Service, Software as a Service, or Platform as a Service.
  • Three years of experience positioning and selling technology to new and existing clients.
  • Three years of consistent and sustained business and sales performance in complex enterprise sales.
  • Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
