About The Position

The Account Executive Team at Burwood Group is a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to empowering clients through strategic technology solutions and exceptional service. Focused on enabling organizations to maximize the value of their technology investments, our team builds lasting relationships, identifies client needs, and delivers tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes across diverse industries. The Account Executive is the face of Burwood for our customers, business partners, and community. This role drives revenue growth through partner-led and co-sell motions with a strong emphasis on at least two of Burwood's core solution areas - AI, Enterprise Networking, Azure/Google Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Collaboration. You'll develop executive-level relationships, own strategic account planning, and deliver outcome-driven solutions through deep collaboration with internal teams and key technology partners.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of sales experience, preferably in technology consulting or IT services
  • IT services experience required, with demonstrated success selling complex technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of at least two of Burwood's core solution areas: Enterprise Networking (SD-WAN, network modernization, modern architectures), Cybersecurity (security frameworks, risk management, managed security services), Cloud (Azure / Google: cloud strategy, migration, hybrid cloud, managed services), AI (how AI enhances cloud, security, networking, and collaboration outcomes), Collaboration (modern workplace productivity and communication platforms), Customer Experience (CX – CX improvement strategies through technology and managed programs)
  • Highly driven, resilient, and growth-oriented - you don't need to be managed
  • You maintain VP- and C-level relationships across customer and partner organizations
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota through partner-influenced and partner-sourced deals
  • You bring a strong network within IT leadership and the channel ecosystem
  • You excel in a consultative, solution-oriented approach - you solve problems, not just pitch products
  • Proactive, strategic, and disciplined in opportunity management
  • Energized by the intersection of business, technology, and partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Strategic account planning and execution within partner-led environments
  • Executive-level customer engagement and relationship management
  • Client business reviews (QBRs/PBRs) that drive real outcomes
  • Joint go-to-market strategies with channel partners (Google, ISVs, OEMs, Distributors)
  • Partner enablement and relationship development
  • Sales leadership and deal strategy ownership from first call to close
  • Community and ecosystem engagement, including partner and industry events
