About The Position

Experian Automotive is seeking a motivated seller with a background in strategy, marketing, and data sales to join their team. The Account Executive will be responsible for growing existing business lines and identifying new opportunities within automotive advertisers, specifically working with Dealer Agencies, Marketing Tech, and CDPs. This role involves revenue growth, strategic planning, client retention, and acting as a trusted consultant to clients by leveraging Experian's automotive insights and data solutions. The Account Executive will also collaborate internally with partners, product experts, and consultants to develop integrated business plans and strategies to support advertisers.

Requirements

  • Experience with trends and developments in digital products, including ad tech, data/data onboarding, first-party data management, activation, and attribution/measurement, and how to leverage them to win more share of budgets.
  • Understanding and curiosity of the automotive and advertising landscape and industries.
  • Ability to speak to automotive trends, uncover data set opportunities for clients, and understand a pace for growth.
  • Strategic thinking ability to have conversations with C-suite and decision-makers across a client's organization.
  • Ability to uncover needs and address client challenges with relevant insights and enterprise-level solutions.
  • Track record in positioning data products and solutions.
  • Experience using data to guide insights.
  • Experience creating meaningful meeting content and delivering impactful sales pitches.
  • Background in sales success, including achieving and surpassing goals, and managing to a revenue goal.
  • 7+ years in digital media sales and data sales.
  • Direct experience working with agencies, dealerships, and martech organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Grow existing lines of businesses and uncover new opportunities with new clients.
  • Serve as the sales lead for a portfolio of automotive advertisers, responsible for revenue growth, short- and long-term strategy development, scoping, and client retention.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients, understanding their challenges and providing tailored solutions using Experian's automotive insights.
  • Partner internally with cross-functional teams, including partners, product experts, and consultants, to create integrated business plans and strategies.
  • Grow revenue and exceed sales goals by networking horizontally and vertically within clients to acquire new business/contracts, upsell, and renew existing business.
  • Develop client relationships through in-person meetings, networking events, conferences, and remote capabilities.
  • Collaborate and partner across Experian teams to identify and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Position the benefits of Experian's data, product suite, and business model to decision-makers, demonstrating how Experian Automotive can help grow their business.
  • Apply data solutions to power go-to-market plans, analytics, and attribution.
  • Establish communication and engagement with prospects.
