About The Position

The Account Director serves as the strategic leader and primary point of contact for a client account, overseeing all aspects of facilities management service delivery. This senior leadership role drives operational excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction while managing a diverse team of facilities professionals. You'll be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination across all service lines, maintaining strong client relationships at executive levels, and positioning JLL as a trusted strategic partner. This role requires balancing big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on operational oversight to deliver exceptional value and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • BS degree and minimum 7 years as a facilities manager in a facility comparable in size and scope OR minimum 10 years of direct experience in facilities management with a min. 5 years as a facilities manager in a facility comparable in size and scope.
  • Must possess current and active certification in Facility Management from an industry-recognized institution or accredited school/program.
  • Must have minimum of 3 years of experience with automated facility maintenance management system.
  • Experience must include managing a complex 24/7 operation, encompassing multiple trades and utilities with a diverse workforce.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning sessions with client leadership to align facilities operations with organizational goals and develop long-term facility roadmaps
  • Oversee financial performance including budget management, forecasting, and P&L responsibility while identifying cost optimization opportunities
  • Direct and mentor the facilities management team including operations managers, project managers, and specialized service leads to ensure cohesive service delivery
  • Conduct regular client meetings and executive briefings to review performance metrics, address concerns, and present strategic recommendations
  • Manage contract compliance, scope changes, and service level agreements while identifying opportunities for service expansion and value enhancement
  • Coordinate crisis response and business continuity efforts, ensuring rapid resolution of critical facilities issues
  • Drive operational improvements through data analysis, performance benchmarking, and implementation of best practices across the account
