About The Position

The Account Director is a source of truth and trusted client expert for the entire SRW | C.A. team. They instinctively understand people, build strong relationships, and consistently deliver exceptional work. They deeply understand our clients’ business and translate that knowledge across internal teams. As a thought leader inside and outside the organization, the Account Director serves as a strategic advisor to clients who rely on them to champion their brand and guide meaningful work. The Account Director manages key client relationships and collaborates closely with Strategy, Media, Partnerships and Creative to bring integrated campaigns to life from start to finish. They motivate the team to meet client timelines, budgets and expectations, plus go above and beyond to exceed client goals. They manage complex details and make the juggling of many tasks look easy. Simply put, they get shit done.

Requirements

  • Experience navigating senior-level client relationships with ease.
  • A talent for distilling complex information into a clear, actionable direction.
  • Demonstrated resilience, collaboration, positive attitude, and a drive to produce outstanding work.
  • Hands-on understanding of organic and paid social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing terminology and processes (paid media, SEO, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • A strong pulse on industry and competitive trends with the ability to translate into strategic opportunities.
  • A track record of growing accounts, upselling ideas, and negotiating SOWs or contract extensions.
  • Experience assessing and optimizing processes, tools, and workflows within client service teams.
  • Comfort taking the lead in new business pitches and offering a clear POV on how to exceed business goals.
  • The entrepreneurial spirit to constantly push boundaries, move quickly, and take responsibility for driving client and agency growth.
  • A passion for all things digital and social — and the curiosity to continually learn what’s next.
  • Experience working with CPG brands is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong, trusting relationships with client partners; serve as their strategic advisor from ideation through execution.
  • Lead and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple client accounts at once, partnering with Strategy, Creative, Paid Media and Partnerships teams to ensure client goals are reflected in all work.
  • Facilitate creative briefs and own assignment briefs to ensure teams are aligned to tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Own all project management aspects of the work you lead from timelines to budgets and everything in between.
  • Track KPIs, performance metrics, and expectations to maintain accountability and quality across all deliverables.
  • Lead all client meetings and internal regroups, reviews, brainstorms, etc.
  • Create compelling decks that communicate strategy, spark excitement, and position the agency as a creative leader.
  • Stay current on digital trends, platforms, and technology; serve as a go-to resource for clients and the team.
  • Provide business leadership that helps clients grow, evolve, and expand their scopes of work.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation; enforce processes, ensure quality, and champion best practices across the entire team.
  • Manage scopes of work, maintain fiscal responsibility, and contribute to new business proposals and pitches as needed.
  • Uphold agency standards for excellent client service and instill this behavior within the team.
