About The Position

As an Account Director for our social-first, AI-powered content studio dedicated to a large global spirits client, you’ll be tasked with owning and optimizing our agency processes. You’ll not only master our way of working but will proactively identify and implement improvements. Through strategic engagement, you’ll cultivate and deepen robust relationships with key client stakeholders. Task-wise, you’ll have full ownership and strategic oversight of large-scale projects and overall account strategy, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results in an always-on social environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive account management experience, with significant expertise in CPG or Spirits/Alcohol categories a strong preference.
  • Proven video production leadership and oversight experience required.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of leading executive-level discussions.
  • A seasoned strategic leader with an incisive understanding of social media trends, market dynamics, and the nuances of always-on social content strategy.
  • Highly collaborative, fostering strong internal and external partnerships.
  • A strong interest in and ability to leverage AI-based tools and technology to drive client success.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and a proactive problem-solver.
  • Polished and impactful presentation skills, commanding rooms and influencing decisions.
  • Highly organized with strong project management and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary strategic client lead, cultivating and nurturing strong, enduring relationships across multiple projects and at senior levels within the client organization.
  • Lead and direct major accounts and large-scale projects from strategic conception through flawless delivery, serving as the central point of contact and collaboration.
  • Ensure all stakeholders (internal teams and senior client decision-makers) are consistently informed, strategically aligned, and proactively managed on account status, activities, deadlines, and deliverables, especially within fast-paced, always-on social cycles.
  • Lead and facilitate all client meetings, driving strategic agendas and ensuring accurate, insightful, and timely follow-up actions.
  • Oversee and ensure thorough documentation of all account work in progress, including strategic status reports, contact reports, financial reconciliation, and comprehensive post-mortem learnings that inform future strategy.
  • Own the financial health and profitability of the account, including meticulous estimate management, time reconciliation, and timely, accurate billing and forecasting.
  • Possess deep expertise in the production process from start to finish, providing strategic guidance and oversight.
  • Translate complex client business objectives into clear, actionable strategic briefs and ensure rigorous adherence to all client mandatories and regulations, particularly for dynamic, always-on social content.
  • Drive highly effective cross-functional collaboration across all disciplines (Strategy, Creative, Production), elevating the standard of excellence in all deliverables.
  • Champion and elevate the creative vision and integrity of ideas and solutions from initial concept through final execution, ensuring alignment with client strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Provide senior-level strategic feedback and guidance on creative work, ensuring it aligns with client objectives, brief requirements, and market best practices for social-first, always-on campaigns.
  • Proactively leverage AI-based tools and technology to uncover new insights, enhance client strategies, and optimize project outcomes for maximum impact.
