The Account Director serves as the top leadership role on client accounts within JLL Work Dynamics, developing and implementing comprehensive account plans that delight clients and ensure healthy long-term relationships. This executive leader anticipates client needs, delivers exceptional performance on key indicators, and builds high-performing teams that drive operational excellence while keeping employees engaged and thriving. You'll lead transformational client relationships for Fortune 500 companies, managing comprehensive facility management solutions with a focus on R&D/Technology clients with cleanroom operations, project management, and strategic occupancy management.

Requirements

  • Cleanroom Experience: Direct, hands-on experience managing or supporting cleanroom environments, including ISO classifications, gowning/degowning protocols, and contamination control discipline required to keep classified spaces compliant without disrupting active R&D work
  • 24x7 Operations Experience: Proven ability to lead round-the-clock facility operations: staffing coverage models, shift handoffs, on-call escalation, and after-hours emergency response ensuring critical R&D and cleanroom infrastructure never goes unmonitored
  • Financial Responsibility: Full P&L accountability for the account, including budget development, forecasting, variance management, and cost control, with attention to how capital/expense decisions affect cleanroom uptime and compliance
  • Excellent Communications: Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels, able to translate technical facilities detail into clear, executive-ready updates while communicating precisely with technicians, engineers, and third-party partners on the ground
  • Engineering & Technical Experience: Strong technical/engineering background, ideally with critical facilities or MEP systems exposure, enabling credible oversight of HVAC, electrical, and controls work and informed decisions on technical vendor recommendations
  • Experience Managing a Highly Technical Operation: Demonstrated success leading complex, technically demanding operations—not just administratively overseeing a site, but understanding the systems, risks, and operational nuances well enough to make sound judgment calls under pressure
  • Strong People Management Skills: Demonstrated success leading people responsible for managing complex, technically demanding operations—proven good hiring judgment and managing to a high-performance level
  • Bachelor's degree with comprehensive business experience across multiple functions

  • Managing complex client relationships in cleanroom and critical facility environments requiring ISO classification compliance and contamination control
  • Analyzing customer behavior data and industry trends to identify expansion opportunities and drive account growth
  • Overseeing financial performance including full P&L accountability, budget development, forecasting, variance management, and cost control
  • Collaborating with Work Dynamics leadership to translate firm strategy into actionable business opportunities
  • Delivering exceptional client service through proactive stakeholder engagement and continuous feedback integration
  • Leading project management initiatives with approximately $8M annual spend
  • Providing strategic occupancy planning and management
