Account Director, Strategist - Telecommunications

MrBeastNew York, NY
$178,000 - $223,000Hybrid

About The Position

As the Account Director, Strategist, Telecommunications at MrBeast, you are the senior strategist owning the pre-sale phase of every integration inside the MrBeast ecosystem for one of our largest telecommunications partners. Your job is to take the strategic direction set by the VP Partnerships and convert it into a specific, sellable concept that ties your client's business objectives (product launches, category adoption, new-surface introductions) to MrBeast's creative language and audience. Your primary focus is high-level strategy and pre-sale development, allowing our dedicated production teams to manage execution and on-set activation. This role is based in New York, where you’ll work in-office five days per week, or you’ll operate in a fully remote environment while maintaining tight, daily collaboration with teams in New York and North Carolina. Regardless of location, you’ll be expected to operate on Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours to stay aligned with headquarters, deal flow, and production timelines.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience blending integrated marketing strategy with telecommunications industry account leadership, either brand-side or agency-side.
  • Direct experience packaging integrated campaigns with a top-tier YouTuber, streaming platform, or premium content publisher.
  • Product-marketing experience relevant to co-branded merchandise. Anyone who has led a merchandise or licensed-product marketing motion will translate cleanly.
  • Fluency in both worlds. You should be able to sit in a client marketing planning meeting and be treated as a peer, and sit in a MrBeast creative brainstorm and contribute meaningfully to the concept.
  • Track record of KPI-mapping sophistication. You've built measurement frameworks that survived a marketing-mix modeling review.
  • Media literacy sufficient to be conversant on production feasibility - you don't need to be a producer, but you can't propose concepts that are physically un-shootable.
  • Consulting background welcome. MBB associates or engagement managers with a Telecommunications expertise, or corporate development for telecommunications clients at a media firm, both translate cleanly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the pre-sale deliverable for every integration—including the concept doc, pitch deck, KPI mapping, and measurement architecture.
  • Manage the partner content marketing calendar to ensure every product launch is packaged around a high-impact content moment.
  • Translate the client's business objectives into MrBeast content architecture. If the client is launching a new flagship product with a repositioning around a specific technology capability, you are the person who figures out whether that lands better as a Main Channel headline integration, a Shorts campaign, or a Beast Games challenge.
  • Spearhead brand-KPI-to-asset mapping by aligning client measurement goals (such as unaided awareness lift, purchase consideration, and retail traffic) with the optimal MrBeast assets.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Lead on concept feasibility, production complexity, and creative fit with MrBeast’s brand voice. You are the strategic translator between the client's brief and MrBeast's studio.
  • Build the acquisition-and-retention narrative into every integration, ensuring every proposal has a defensible answer to how it moves gross-adds or reduces churn.
  • Manage regulated-category constraints in pre-sale, baking category disclosure requirements and compliant claims into the concept rather than into a post-approval fight.
  • Coordinate with the client’s retail marketing team, architecting the connection where a MrBeast integration ties to in-store or store-locator activation.
  • Lead the concept-to-close cycle as the primary quarterback of the pre-sale motion, from first client conversation to signed IO, with the VP staying consultative at the executive level.
  • Hand off cleanly to Activation. When the deal closes, you brief the Activation Account Director comprehensively, then stay consultative through production, but you do not own execution.
  • Feed learnings back into the strategy - after every activation, you incorporate what worked and what didn't into the next cycle.
