About The Position

Tacony Corporation is searching for an Account Development Specialist to join our powerhouse Commercial Floorcare Sales Team! In this role, you'll help drive sales growth by supporting our national customers within a defined territory based in Florida, deliver engaging product demos, and provide hands-on trainings to showcase how to use our commercial cleaning equipment. If you're passionate about growing new and existing customer relationships, nurturing new sales opportunities, and sealing the deal, we want you on board! Requirements

  • At least 1 year sales experience, preferred.
  • Strong persuasive skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate other

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience working with commercial equipment distributors is a plus
  • Experience conducting demonstrations and selling product / equipment, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director, National Accounts to develop and execute tailored sales strategies that align with regional and national goals
  • Identify, meet with and effectively partner with key decision makers and their sales representatives to understand their business needs to grow market share
  • Foster strong relationships and frequently communicate with channel partners to increase customer acquisition and loyalty and drive long-term growth
  • Make cold calls to prospective new accounts by phone, email, and/or in-person visits
  • Perform on-site trainings, demonstrations, and provide education in sales meetings with select customers and channel partners to help close deals
  • Travel 50% a week
