Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Based in Sales Region (Montreal West)
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively in English, as the role involves regular interactions with colleagues and partners outside of Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business in the territory by meeting with specialists, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, pharmacists) to promote the clinical use of applicable Amgen products.
  • Achieve monthly sales objectives and maximize market share against competitors.
  • Develop and implement territory business plans, create innovative programs, and build a competitive advantage for Amgen within key accounts.
  • Respond to customer needs with high-quality service, demonstrating strong knowledge of therapeutic areas, understanding patient management, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and supporting fulfillment.
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Marketing, Patient Access Navigators, and the Key Accounts team.
  • Execute marketing strategies and effectively communicate approved promotional messages.
  • Coordinate logistics for Amgen-sponsored scientific activities, such as national and regional speaker tours, in-services, and continuing health education initiatives for healthcare professionals.
  • Complete required administrative tasks, including territory analysis and call reporting in Amgen's systems.
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategies and their effectiveness in the field.
  • Adhere to Amgen's pharmacovigilance policies for reporting Adverse Events (AE) and Product Complaints (PC).
