About The Position

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Account Coordinator will support the account managers with daily requests pertaining to pricing, project planning, order entry, confirmation of invoicing and sales admin support. This position will also work with internal staff to ensure Univar delivers exceptional customer service.

Requirements

College diploma or University degree in a related program (chemistry, Environment, sales) and two (2) years’ experience in sales or customer service is required
Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and possess strong written and oral communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, Work, and PowerPoint)
Must be a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced exciting team environment
Must work well under pressure and be able to prioritize and multitask

SAP experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Actively work with account managers to develop new business and create growth with Univar’s current customer base.
Be a point of contact for the customers to ensure requests are reviewed efficiently.
Work with internal staff to ensure Univar delivers exceptional customer service.
Initiate price quote requests as needed by customers and account managers.
Provide the Purchasing team with detailed order entry for accurate Purchase order completion.
Work with vendors and internal team members to organize the gathering and delivery of material from customers.
Work with operations to monitor waste inventory and organize shipments to approved vendors.
Create new customer and vendor accounts in SAP
Develop working relationships with customer contacts and vendors for smooth and efficient interactions.
Monitor and ensure accurate invoicing from vendors as well as to customers.
Assist the account managers with the customers’ Annual Reviews and Sustainability Reports.
Other duties as required.
