About The Position

The Account Analyst supports the account management team with various administrative service functions in the Employee Health & Benefits department. Join a team of analysts in supporting clients and colleagues with census, benefits websites, and quality control for Employee Health and Benefits business.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of insurance experience or undergraduate degree
  • Currently pursuing an insurance education designation
  • Obtain license, master responsibilities and core competencies of current role
  • Proficiency with Excel and Outlook
  • Department Specific, Insurance Knowledge (TotalCSR; MMA Specific training)

Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming mail for assigned team
  • Process census data and communicate with account management team
  • Prepare data and information for client enrollments.
  • Review for accuracy and process applications, binders, endorsements, renewals, new business policies and plans, census/enrollment requests, and certificates of insurance (applicable by department)
  • Prepare premium quotations on new business, renewal business, and any policy changes on existing policies for the account management team
  • Assist team with the preparation of applications and supporting documents
  • Set up client benefit enrollment portals
  • Understand all carrier online capabilities for processing as necessary to complete your work processes
  • Communicate with account management team, Manager, and Director to provide regular input on all account activity, and workload
  • Be familiar with, and adhere to the department’s procedure manual for the processing of your work processes
  • Follow all systems, procedures and regulations set forth by both the agency and the insurance companies
  • Continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Follow best practices and procedures with Epic agency management system.
  • Update program charts
