About The Position

The Hotel Accommodations Supervisor at Turning Stone Enterprises plays a key role in ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay. You’ll lead and support our accommodations team, making sure they’re well-trained and equipped to provide prompt and courteous service. With a thorough understanding of our processes, you’ll oversee hotel reservations, manage room inventory, and work closely with other departments to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll also help create staff schedules and maintain important reports, all while fostering a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Must have at least a 2 year college degree.
  • Experience in a leadership role required.
  • Must have hotel, computer and telephone experience.
  • Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.
  • Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively counsels, guides and instructs employees in the daily performance of their duties and makes appropriate personnel recommendations to Accommodations Manager.
  • Possesses complete knowledge of all departmental procedures and appropriately oversees and assists in the administration of the department.
  • Effectively trains all personnel in the proper performance of all job duties (reservations, PBX, operator, etc.) and thereafter ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Prepares and effectively trains employees in emergency procedures.
  • Efficiently operates LMS program for processing hotel reservations and assists with booking groups into hotel.
  • Always schedules employees to ensure that there is sufficient workforce available to provide the most efficient guest service possible.
  • Interfaces with all other departments as required. Accurately maintains logs for various departments. Consistently provides a daily Projected Occupancy report for Hotel department as well as other reports as required.
  • Demonstrates the ability to accurately apply Aspire application for call handling while ensuring that all representatives use the application.
  • Ensures the daily management of room inventory control and adjusts selling strategies to maximum yield.
