About The Position
The Accommodations Assistant plays a vital role in creating a distraction-free environment for guests by maintaining spaces that help facilitate ministry experiences. This individual provides general help and assistance for a variety of manual labor projects, setup tasks, facility cleanup, and guest hospitality that supports the daily operations and activities of camp. Requirements
- No previous experience or specific skills required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at start of employment to live in staff housing; or must be a High School graduate who is a dependent resident of Hume in staff housing.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors or indoors as needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
- Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps’ Statement of Faith.
- Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a distraction-free environment for campers and guests by cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, setting up meeting rooms, hauling trash, washing windows, and preparing guest lodging in a detail-oriented manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a Christ-centered team environment.
- Represent Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.
