About The Position

Holman is seeking an Accident Management Technician to join their team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. This role involves taking the first notice of loss for drivers involved in automobile accidents, assisting drivers with emergency roadside assistance, and helping them locate suitable repair locations. The technician will also assist vendors with general inquiries, provide accurate documentation on all repair events, and verify that repair and maintenance work is necessary and priced fairly. Responsibilities include reviewing, authorizing, and submitting payments for repairs, responding positively to change, offering suggestions for improvements, remaining calm under pressure, and accepting constructive criticism. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to carry out assignments carefully with follow-up, overcoming obstacles to meet goals, and accepting personal accountability. Keeping management and coworkers informed of work progress and maintaining positive relationships are also key. The technician must be able to complete transactions and set follow-up tasks accurately while providing high-quality service. Additional duties and special projects may be assigned, and adaptability to change and willingness to work extra hours, including nights and weekends depending on shift coverage needs, are expected.

Requirements

  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn to navigate and use internal Holman systems
  • Two to five years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task on a regular basis
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to express empathy and sympathy in situations which it is warranted.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior automotive experience a plus.
  • Prior call center experience a plus.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Nights & weekends may be required depending on the shift we need coverage for.
