About The Position

The Access Control Specialist provides administrative security services to a compound, including obtaining security clearances for employees and visitors to assist with visit authorizations and access to restricted areas. The specialist regularly works with customers on security needs and performs duties in an industrial security office. The role requires an active Top Secret SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of recent access control experience.
Basic computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
Active Top Secret SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

Create and issue badges.
Grant and remove access to restricted areas.
Respond by email to customer questions and inquiries.
Coordinate with other agencies on various issues.
Take photographs for various requirements.
Coordinate conferences at customer request.
Interact with compound security on possible security issues and help develop security policies and procedures.
Oversee parking requirements.
Implement and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
