About The Position

The Access Control Specialist supports the Security Department by managing credentialing operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and functionality of access control systems across Hollywood Park venues, including SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, the Campus and Retail District, and all future expansions. This role is essential to both day-to-day operations and large-scale event execution. The Specialist works collaboratively with internal departments, external partners, and event stakeholders, including coordination of NFL game day credentialing and system troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience with access control systems, credentialing platforms, or Command Center operations in a high-security environment.
  • Proficient in the use and troubleshooting of Genetec, AMAG, Accredit, and other surveillance/access systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities; able to collaborate with both technical teams and frontline staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Flexible availability to support 24/7 operations, including during major events.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in various environmental conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and assist in maintaining the access control system (Genetec) and credentialing platform (Accredit), including the creation, updating, and deactivation of user profiles and access permissions.
  • Support credential printing and bi-quarterly credential design processes for operational and event readiness.
  • Manage Box Office credential distribution for daily operations and serve as a credentialing lead for NFL game days (until one hour prior to kickoff).
  • Assist with new hire orientations, including photographing personnel and issuing credentials.
  • Process and track all credential and video review requests using HWP Forms (GW Apps).
  • Support the Event Command Center (ECC) Lead, during large-scale events, including concerts, sporting events, and NFL games.
  • Monitor system performance for key platforms such as Genetec Dataminr, Dedrone, and eConnect to ensure they are fully operational.
  • Troubleshoot access control devices, including door readers, boundary devices, and cameras; support reader renaming and replacement as needed.
  • Conduct daily and weekly audits of access permissions and credentialing systems to ensure adherence to internal protocols.
  • Support internal and external investigations, performing video reviews and coordinating with Legal Affairs on sensitive or high-priority cases.
  • Maintain the integrity and functionality of integrated security technologies including: Genetec Security Desk (Video Management System and Access Control), Accredit Solutions (credentialing), IDESCO Swiftcolor and HID credential printers, Dataminr Social Media Monitoring, Dedrone Drone Detection, eConnect Facial Recognition Software.
  • Assist with infrastructure development and system expansion across Hollywood Park facilities.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, system updates, and profile creation for mass notification systems (e.g., 298 Mallcomm) and other connected platforms.
  • Maintain flexibility to support a variety of operational and event-related tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in 24/7 security operations rotation as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
