About The Position

DSI Security Services is seeking an Access Control Security Specialist to support a large, multi-building research and pharmaceutical campus in Princeton. This role requires individuals who are alert, professional, and capable of making sound decisions in real time. Success in this role depends heavily on customer service skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking ability. The position involves access control and visitor management at a guard station, conducting scheduled patrols of a large campus environment, monitoring activity, and responding appropriately to incidents or irregularities. Candidates must be comfortable transitioning between a stationary post and active patrol duties.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Active SORA License required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Intermediate to advanced computer skills
Ability to conduct foot patrols and work in various weather conditions
Must pass all pre-employment screenings
Ability to reliably commute to the site

Security experience is valued
C•CURE experience a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment through active monitoring and visible presence
Manage visitor check-in/check-out systems with accuracy and attention to detail
Observe, assess, and respond to incidents using sound judgment
Complete reports and documentation clearly and accurately
Provide professional, customer-focused interaction with employees, tenants, and visitors
Follow all DSI and client-specific policies and procedures
Conduct scheduled patrols of a large campus environment
Monitor activity and respond appropriately to incidents or irregularities
Transition between a stationary post and active patrol duties
