About The Position

Miller Electric Company designs, installs, and maintains advanced electrical systems, with expertise spanning traditional electrical contracting, security solutions, audio-visual integration, wireless networking, and building management systems. The Access Control/CCTV Senior Service Technician will be responsible for programming, testing, and commissioning installations of Integrated Security Systems, including Access Control, IP-CCTV, Biometrics, Intrusion, and Intercom systems. This role requires strong knowledge of commercial security, basic networking, troubleshooting, and systems programming. The candidate must also possess strong communication and organizational skills to ensure project success, with the ability to shift focus and prioritize workload effectively. This position may require on-call, after-hours support, or work on different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may involve some overnight travel.

Requirements

• 6 years of working experience in commercial security, basic networking, troubleshooting, and systems programming
• High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Clean driving record
• At least two of the following certifications: Genetec, Software House Victor, Avigilon ACS & CCTV, Lenel, ExacqVision, DMP
