About The Position

Miller Electric Company designs, installs, and maintains advanced electrical systems. Our expertise spans traditional electrical contracting, security solutions, audio-visual integration, wireless networking, and building management systems. The Access Control/CCTV Senior Service Technician is responsible for programming, testing, and commissioning installations of Integrated Security Systems, including Access Control, IP-CCTV, Biometrics, Intrusion, and Intercom systems. This role requires strong knowledge of commercial security, basic networking, troubleshooting, and systems programming. The candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills to ensure project success, and be able to shift focus and prioritize workload to complete tasks within allotted time. This position may involve on-call, after-hours support, or working different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Some overnight travel may also be required.

Requirements

6 years of working experience in commercial security, basic networking, troubleshooting, and systems programming
High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree
Valid Florida Driver's License
Clean driving record
At least two of the following certifications: Genetec, Software House Victor, Avigilon ACS & CCTV, Lenel, ExacqVision, DMP
