About The Position

The Access Control Agent (Exit Lane Monitor) is responsible for maintaining the integrity of secured airport areas by monitoring exit lanes and preventing unauthorized re-entry into the sterile area. This role requires strict adherence to TSA regulations, strong situational awareness, and consistent communication with designated authorities.

Requirements

  • High attention to detail and ability to follow established security procedures
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to issue clear and firm instructions
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in a high-security, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods (8–10 hour shifts)
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Ability to work within a secure airport environment under strict TSA regulations
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous security or related experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Monitor individuals exiting the sterile area to ensure compliance with all security protocols
  • Prevent unauthorized access by verifying credentials and identification prior to re-entry
  • Follow all TSA procedures and directives when confirming authorization status
  • Report any unauthorized access or security concerns immediately using TSA-approved protocols
  • Maintain continuous communication with TSA personnel via radio, phone, or other assigned channels
  • Provide clear, professional verbal instructions to individuals; physical intervention is not permitted
