As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in Mckinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, checking visitor and delivery documentation, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or restricted area access.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support vehicle, trailer, and/or pedestrian entry procedures by directing traffic flow, reviewing required paperwork, and reporting unusual activity or access concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access control areas, dock entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, as required by site conditions and post instructions.
