About The Position
Global Power Components is hiring an Academy Trainee – Electrical for its training academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role begins with three weeks of paid training and is temp-to-hire after an initial period of three or more months. Training covers electrical work, safety standards, blueprint reading, electrical basics, wiring and controls, and conduit bending. The position is onsite five days per week.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning electrical skills.
- Comfort using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
- Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive, maintenance, assembly, farming, military, or another hands-on environment.
