About The Position

As a Sales Trainee, you will learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training and hands-on learning. You will be exposed to different areas of the business, receive specialized training, and develop an overview of the industry before transitioning into a sales role. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The expected starting pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• A two- or four-year degree, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through different areas of the business, including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional processes, and project processes.
