PURPOSE This position is responsible for advising students in the MBA and MAcc programs in the College of Business and serves as the point of contact for all prospective and current students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master of Accountancy
  • Knowledge of business graduate programs admissions and curriculum
  • Experience with Banner, Argos, DegreeWorks, Laserfiche

Responsibilities

  • Serve as advisor for currently enrolled graduate students and assist with course selection.
  • Assist prospective students with the application process.
  • Review and clear currently enrolled graduate students for graduation.
  • Assist with graduate student orientation.
  • Assist with graduate student functions (receptions, open houses, etc.).
  • Assist with preparation of graduate course schedule.
  • Represent department on committees and at meetings.
  • Cross train with Assistant Manager to ensure operations are covered.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
